This reader's theater is about a funny skeleton who always tells jokes. He falls over and all his bones get mixed up. His friends help put him back together but the funny bone is missing and the skeleton then believes he isn't funny any more. The skeleton and his friends go searching for the bone but can't. So they end up going to see the Wondrous Wizard. The Wondrous Wizard, inserts a new funny bone into the skeleton and it works. He is funny again! but actually the Wizard didn't insert a new bone at all proving that the skeleton was funny all along, but just needed to believe in himself.
A great moral to teach your student's.
 
All 9 roles/names are gender neutral and can be played by boys or girls.
